Domino Effect - Following Maruco, another player leaves VITE and the competitive Valorant scene

Just today, we wrote about Maruco, who left the VITE team and the competitive Valorant scene, and a few hours later, similar news came from his former teammate. Another Japanese player, Rem, is also ending his activity in the professional scene.

The player himself announced this news on his official Twitter account. Rem thanks all the fans who supported him, as well as his teammates. Interestingly, the reason the player is leaving the professional scene is that he has not yet mastered his unique style, and most Japanese teams cannot adapt to his style.

He decided to stop performing in the professional scene. The main reason is that I have not yet mastered the style of play I want to try for the first time, and there are still very few Japanese teams that can realize it. When the number increases, I would like to challenge the players again!

Unlike his colleague, Rem started his journey in Valorant back in 2021 with the team Icicle Conflict. With it, the player successfully went through the open qualifiers for VCT JP S3: Challengers 1, but the main tournament ended in a defeat in 7-8th place. After that, he changed several teams, and as part of the last team, VITE, he also did not achieve significant success.

Interestingly, unlike his colleague, Rem expressed a desire to return to the professional scene. The player mentioned that as soon as the number of tier-2 teams in Japan increases, he will again be testing his strength.
