The Japanese esports team DetonatioN FocusMe (DFM) has officially announced the addition of four new players to its VALORANT roster: Art, Jinboong, Akame, and gyen. The team is preparing for the upcoming 2025 season with this updated lineup.

Highlights about the Players:
Art is a veteran of the Valorant esports scene, having previously led teams like Sengoku Gaming and Jadeite as IGL. He was a finalist in the VCJ 2023 Split 2 while playing for Jadeite. After a brief stint with CREST GAMING, where he finished second at the Predator League Japan 2024, Art transitioned to a coaching role before announcing his return to the player roster this August.
Jinboong began his career in 2020 and has experience playing for teams such as TNL Esports and FENNEL. He was part of SLT in 2023, where his team reached two VCK 2023 finals and finished second. Jinboong joined Sengoku Gaming in September 2023, showcasing his skills in the Sentinel role and helping his team secure third place in VCJ 2024 Split 1 and Split 2.

Akame started his career with Alpha Six Gaming in 2021 before transitioning to the Japanese scene with Jadeite. His versatile gameplay, covering roles from Duelist to Sentinel, contributed to a second-place finish in VCJ 2023 Split 2. He joined REJECT in September 2023, where he faced roster changes but still managed to help his team achieve second place in VCJ 2024 Split 1.
gyen is a new promising player with no prior experience in the competitive Valorant scene. He began his career in Fortnite and started playing Valorant seriously in 2022. He has shown outstanding results in the Radiant rank and is now making his professional league debut with DFM.
DetonatioN FocusMe will debut with the new roster at the Red Bull Home Ground 2024 APAC tournament, starting on October 19. The team will face strong opponents such as ZETA, RRQ, and T1.
