On October 7, the DetonatioN FocusMe team, known in the Japanese esports scene, announced the termination of contracts with four players from its Valorant division: Anthem, Medusa, neth, and coach Astell.

Anthem, 22, began his Valorant career in 2020 by joining FIRST Gaming. He then played for FAV Gaming, SCARZ, and REJECT before signing with DetonatioN FocusMe in 2022. This season, he showed growth, achieving victories over teams like T1 and ZETA DIVISION.

Medusa, 23, also started his Valorant career in 2020. He gained recognition while playing for Crazy Raccoon and REJECT. In February 2024, he unexpectedly announced his move to DetonatioN FocusMe, although his results for the year were 2 wins and 10 losses.

Neth, 28, entered esports in 2013 and achieved success in CS before transitioning to CS and then Valorant. He signed with DetonatioN FocusMe in 2023; however, the team's results in VCT Pacific 2024 were disappointing — 2 wins and 10 losses.
