Recently, Valorant received an update 7.06 in which the developers fixed several minor bugs, added a new skin set, and also made significant changes to the matchmaking system. This was announced by Jo-Ellen Aragon, the community relations manager of Valorant, on the company's official website.

Intergrade Skin Set
After the new patch, Valorant introduced a new skin set called Intergrade, which includes 5 new skins for various weapons.

The set includes skins for: Classic, Spectre, Guardian, Operator, and also Blade - a melee weapon skin. The price for all firearm skins is 875 VP, and for the knife 1750, with the total set price being 3500.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a rare bug where you were inadvertently spotted in places where you shouldn't have been visible after purchasing a weapon.
- Fixed a bug where the spike planting and defusing UI panel didn't display for spectators with minimal UI.
- Fixed a bug where vision cones flickered at the beginning of the round at sunset.
Several internal updates were made to combat reports to fix instances where all the correct information wasn't displayed.
Changes in the Ranked Matchmaking System
The new ranked matchmaking system was supposed to be launched in the previous 7.05 patch, but for some reason, Riot decided to move it to the new update. The change in matchmaking means that now players with the Ascendant rank can invite to the group and start matches only with allies who have a Platinum rank and higher. This was done to prevent boosting systems using bots or high-ranked allies, where a high-ranked player helps weaker players increase their rank in the game. Recently, Riot Games released an article where they discussed how their game system and other things work. More details about this can be found at the link.
Character Changes
The only change related to agents in patch 7.06 is the Sage update. The Chinese defender had a significant part of her in-game voice lines updated and many new ones were added that interact with a larger number of agents. You can listen to all the voice lines thanks to the insider ValorLeaks, who shared all the changes on his Twitter account.
