Max "Demon1" Mazanov - the duelist from the reigning world champions Evil Geniuses and a star discovery, had an outstanding season, which seems like a career ladder. 3rd place in the regular season - VCT 2023: Americas League, 2nd place at VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo, and a victory at the end of the season at VALORANT Champions 2023. Interestingly, the player, due to his eccentric behavior and audacious statements, became a favorite in the Valorant community. Max is considered a revelation in Valorant because he played exclusively in tier-2 and tier-3 scenes before 2023. Because of this, he also landed another nomination from the Esports Awards - "Esports Rookie of the Year".
Emir "Alfajer" Beder - a top European player from Fnatic, also had an impressive season. He won the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo and VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo, and later finished 4th at the VALORANT Champions 2023 World Championship. Moreover, he made the list of the best players of the current VCT season according to Riot Games.
The Esports Awards 2023 finals are scheduled for November 29-30, so keep following our portal to find out if professional Valorant players can win the coveted award.
