"CS 2 is more fun for me," - Masters Madrid Champion shares his thoughts on the Valve shooter

The Valorant community often argues with CS 2 players about which shooter is better and deserves the top-1 discipline status, but this doesn't concern professional players. They often spend their time in the Valve shooter, with some even preferring it over Valorant.

One such player is Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, a member of the American team Sentinels and the champion of the recent Masters Madrid tournament in 2024. In his latest stream, Tyson discussed his attitude towards CS 2 and compared it with the Riot Games shooter.

The professional player stated that playing CS 2 is more enjoyable for him than Valorant and also compared the mechanical skill in each game. TenZ believes that the Valve shooter allows you to become better every day because you are constantly honing and maintaining your mechanical skill. Tyson also suggested that throughout his time playing CS 2, he made fewer kills while running and jumping than in a single match of Valorant, which again speaks to CS's advantage in terms of mechanics.

In the comments on Reddit, most users agreed with the professional's opinion, but there were also fans concerned about his love for CS. They fear that the esports player might leave Valorant in the future and return to CS 2, considering his past experience on the professional CS:GO scene.
