Nova Esports, Xi Lai Gaming, and Trace Esports Advance to Playoffs — VCT 2025: China Stage 1

In the first match of the game day, Nova Esports faced off against TYLOO. The Nova team secured a victory with a score of 2:1. The first round on the Split map went to Nova (13:11), then TYLOO evened the score by winning Icebox (13:3), but on the decisive Pearl map, Nova emerged stronger again (13:5). By winning this match, Nova Esports guaranteed themselves a spot in the playoffs.

In the second match of the day, Xi Lai Gaming faced Trace Esports and also claimed victory with a score of 2:1. The first map, Split, went to XLG (13:7), Trace responded with a win on Lotus (13:10), but on the Pearl map (13:11), XLG came out on top. Regardless of the outcome of this match, both teams secured a spot in the playoffs.

The MVP of the match was Arthur “Rarga” Churyumov from XLG, achieving an impressive ACS score of 274, which is 9% higher than his average over the last 90 days.

VCT 2025: China Stage 1 takes place from March 13 to May 4. During the event, 12 teams compete for three slots at VCT 2025: Masters Toronto and China Points, which are necessary for further qualification to VALORANT Champions.
