cNed officially joins FUT Esports

Mehmet "cNed" İpek, the Turkish star player who recently left the Ukrainian club NAVI, has joined FUT Esports. He becomes the fifth player in the revamped Valorant roster, set to compete in the upcoming season.

After the conclusion of the VCT 2023 season, Mehmet "cNed" İpek found himself in a difficult situation. He played for the NAVI team, but the organization no longer required his services, deciding to replace him with Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks. Consequently, he had to look for a new team with which he could participate in the VCT 2024 season. His choice fell on a club from his home country - FUT Esports. This deal is beneficial for both parties, as the Turkish player won't miss the upcoming season and will play for one of the leading clubs in Europe. In turn, the organization gains an experienced player, a world champion, who will undoubtedly strengthen the team and improve their results.

The first event for the updated roster will be the qualifiers for Red Bull Home Ground 4, which begin on October 14th. Four teams will compete for one slot in the main part of the tournament, which will take place from November 3rd to 5th in Japan's capital, Tokyo.
