The American organization Cloud9 announced the departure of two players — Dylan "runi" Cade and Anthony "vanity" Malaspina — from the Valorant roster. One of them has since retired from professional play.

Start of Roster Rebuilding

Cloud9, like most other organizations, is beginning to rebuild its Valorant roster following the official opening of the transfer window in the American region. The club bid farewell to two players: one had already been moved to the bench earlier, and the other remained in the active lineup. The updated Cloud9 Valorant roster:

Runi Retires from Professional Play

Following the announcement of Runi's departure from the Valorant roster, the player officially declared his retirement from the professional scene. Over four years, he competed at a professional level but unfortunately did not achieve significant titles. Throughout his career, he won over $12,000 in prize money.

Thanks to everyone involved with my career, you know who you are. Most importantly thanks to the fans that make everything possible for the scene, keep supporting the players/orgs please. eSports needs everything it can get.

It just feels like time to move on from playing, unfortunately didn’t get where I wanted to but still happy to have experienced something once in a lifetime. Not sure what’s next but for now it’s time to just enjoy time with friends and family
