Cloud9 to play at Red Bull Home Ground 4 with a forced substitution

The American organization, Cloud9, will participate in one of the biggest off-season tournaments, Red Bull Home Ground 4, with a forced player substitution. The club announced this on their social media platforms.

Since Red Bull Home Ground 4 is among the major off-season tournaments featuring many prestigious clubs, this event is crucial for Cloud9. However, they will face certain challenges, particularly due to the forced substitution of a player from the main lineup who recently joined the club.

In the statement from the Cloud9 organization, it was mentioned that Maxim "wippie" Shepelev will miss the tournament due to visa complications in Japan. He will be replaced by Rahul "curry" Nemani, who previously played for the club in 2022.

Red Bull Home Ground 4 will take place from November 3 to 5 in the Japanese capital, Tokyo. This tournament is part of the announced OFF//SEASON event series. The event will feature 8 teams competing over 2 days for the championship title and a prize pool. There is currently no information available regarding the size of the prize pool.
