Chinese club Rare Atom returns to Valorant with an updated roster

The Chinese organization Rare Atom, which disbanded its main Valorant roster in January 2024, announces the signing of five new players to compete in the new season. The new roster includes: Banger, Guran, sn0wFlake, UdoTan, and yue1luo.

Among the new club members, there are several newcomers who lack rich experience in competitive play, specifically sn0wFlake and yue1luo. While the former was noticed at the VCT 2021 - Stage 1 - Brazil - Challengers 3 - Open Qualifier, there is no mention of the latter player.

Overall, it is difficult to consider any member of the new Rare Atom roster a "star player." The entire lineup lacks any outstanding achievements or results, however, BangerGuran, and UdoTan are familiar faces in the Valorant scene, and their experience could play a key role in the upcoming battles.

Banger and UdoTan have previously played together towards the end of 2023, representing the club Four Angry Men, where they competed in the VALORANT China Evolution Series Act 2: Selection - Play-In, finishing 7-8th. As for Guran, in his year of professional career, he has only been noticed as a member of the Douyu Gaming team.

Thus, we see that Rare Atom is fully equipped and ready for the start of the seasonal tournaments within the Chinese region.
