"Cheating in our tournaments is unacceptable" - JayH suspended from competitions due to suspected match-fixing

Match-fixing in the competitive Valorant scene is a rare occurrence, but even in tier-2 leagues like Challengers, such incidents sometimes occur. Today it became known that professional Singaporean player and Disguised participant - Wong "JayH" Heng, has been suspended from competition precisely over suspicions of match-fixing.

On the official Twitter account of Valorant Challengers Malaysia & Singapore, a message appeared accusing JayH of match-fixing and stating that he has been suspended from competition. So far, there are no details on when exactly and under what circumstances Wong violated community rules. However, the statement mentioned that this occurred before his joining of Valorant Challengers 2024 Malaysia & Singapore.

Interestingly, immediately after this, the player himself refuted this statement. On his official social media, he reached out to the organizers and requested to contact him. Wong "JayH" Heng assures that he has never participated in match-fixing, and this statement will greatly impact his reputation, so he plans to refute it as soon as possible and clear his name.

Hello, any VCL MYSG staff, please reach out to me, I do not engage in match-fixing and have never participated in any activity related to it. Furthermore, before this statement was made public, I was not informed of any ongoing investigation and did not confirm anything from my side. These accusations will seriously damage my reputation, especially considering that proper caution was not exercised, even by contacting me for a preliminary investigation.

It is currently unclear whether the accusations against JayH are indeed justified. We will await official comments from both sides, as well as resolution of this unpleasant situation and fair punishment if warranted
