“Champion skins for Phantom are terrible” - Valorant community discusses the Champions Collection 2024

Recently, Riot Games officially showcased a set of skins dedicated to Valorant Champions 2024. Despite the entire game community awaiting this collection for almost a year, opinions have been divided, and many players are dissatisfied.

The Champions Collection 2024 includes two skins: one for the Phantom, one for a melee weapon that turns an ordinary knife into a long dagger/sword, a player card, and a weapon charm. The price of the set is likely to be 6,200 VP or more, and the release date is still unknown.

After the set was officially presented, the Valorant community began actively discussing it, and many players were dissatisfied. They complain that the skin for the Phantom is not stylish at all and, moreover, very similar to the existing Ion set skin. Overall, player opinion directly indicates the unpopularity of the champion skins for the Phantom, as the community also criticized the skin back in 2022.

Phantom skins are always bad, in 2022 and now.
Riot simply can't make Phantom skins, so in the future, they should focus solely on Vandal.

Despite the criticism from one part of the community, the Valorant community will still massively buy the set. However, how popular it will be can only be determined once Riot Games publish sales data.
