Cal leaves K10 after the first unsuccessful tournament in 2024

The competitive season has just started, but the European team K10 is already saying goodbye to one of its players. After failing at the open qualifiers for the Challengers 2024 Northern Europe, the team ends its collaboration with British player Callum "Cal" Burgoyne.

The decision was announced by the team's representatives on their official Twitter account. It was revealed that there was no specific reason why Callum is leaving the team; it might be the player's dissatisfaction with the results over the last year, or the failure at the first tournament impacted his desire to continue. The club's management only stated that both parties are ending their cooperation by mutual agreement. The player himself mentioned that he enjoyed his time with the club and would share details about his future soon.

Looking forward to the future with excitement!! I've really enjoyed all the time spent with K10 over the last year, it was a wonderful experience, and I wish them all the best. Until we meet again!

Callum "Cal" Burgoyne joined the team at the beginning of 2023. During his time under the club's banner, he won the winter and spring Trinity Trials tournaments of 2023. However, the first official competitions in 2024 brought him and the team defeat. The team failed the open qualifiers for the VALORANT Challengers 2024 Northern Europe: Polaris Split 1, finishing in the 17-32nd place. As a result, the tournament became the first defeat for the club in the new season.

As a result, the K10 roster now only includes four players and is not ready for upcoming competitions. Although the club failed the open qualifiers for the first competitive tournament, events in which the team could participate will not be held in the near future.
