On November 2nd, access to the PBE server was opened, where active American players can test the upcoming Valorant patch 7.12 before its official release. The update will include a buff for Gekko, balance adjustments for Skye, bug fixes, and possibly a new "Group Code" system.
The patch notes for the upcoming 7.12 update feature improvements to the agent Gekko and balance adjustments for the agent Skye, particularly concerning her Trailblazer ability. Minor bugs have also been fixed. More detailed patch notes are available below.

- Missile speed increased from 7000 to 10000
SKYE
Trailblazer (Q)

- Trailblazer explosion now concusses allies as well as enemies.
Bug Fixes
Agent
- Fixed a bug where kills would not be awarded to you while controlling an ability. This affected Sova getting a kill with Shock Dart (Q) while controlling Owl Drone (C), Gekko’s Mosh (C) kills while controlling Thrash (X), and Cypher’s Trapwire (C) kills while controlling Spycam (E).
- When KAY/O is downed during his NULL-CMD (X), the red portrait will now show for everyone in the game.
Premier
- Fixed an issue in Overtime Voting where "Waiting for Opponents" message appears behind the voting team.
Apart from minor balance adjustments and improvements to the agent Gekko, a new feature called "Group Code" has appeared on the test server, previously showcased during other announcements. This feature allows players to invite others to a group without adding them to their friends list, using a special and unique code.
