Brazilian team LOUD reveals selection criteria for Valorant global stage pressure

Captain of LOUD, Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro, elaborated on the reasons behind choosing Gabriel “qck” Lima to augment their Valorant lineup. On November 7th, Matias from LOUD participated in an interview on the UNLOCK CLUB YouTube channel, hosted by Bruno PlayHard, one of the organization's owners.

At the outset of the conversation, Bruno inquired from Matias the reasons behind the team's choice of Gabriel. Saadhak explained his decision, stating that the primary factor was qck extensive and successful gaming experience, which ultimately became the decisive factor.

What does this mean? It means that we need someone experienced, someone who has been through a lot in the game and beyond. qck obviously hasn't reached championship status, but he has participated in the league of champions, played on LAN, and has done many things that gave him this experience.

On the big stage, pressure on the player is entirely normal, and not everyone can easily cope with it. The realization that you represent not just a team but the "giants" of the Valorant arena adds even more pressure, especially on inexperienced players. This underscores that internal and external expectations create a unique atmosphere, and not every athlete can meet this challenge.

I think people need to understand one thing: we are a 'world' team, meaning a team that can participate in world championships. This already creates significant pressure, and not everyone can handle it.

Following this, Saadhak briefly discussed qck qualities. LOUD captain praised his new teammate, stating that Gabriel can bring various agents to the team that he can utilize.

He brings with him many characters he can play. This is very important; he's a very flexible player. One of the problems you often see in Brazil is that many players do not have an extensive pool of agents, and this affects certain things.

It's worth noting that on November 4th, LOUD announced an addition to their lineup. The fifth and final member was Gabriel "qck" Lima, who had played for FURIA Esports for several years.
