Bipo leaves GMT Esports team

The 19-year-old Italian player, Taranvir Singh, known as bipo, posted on his Twitter account that the organization has given him permission to seek a new team, despite the fact that his contract with them has not yet ended. The changes in the team were likely due to the unsuccessful performance at the end of the season.

The updated roster of the European collective now looks as follows GMT Esports:

  • Fábio "AFoxx" Veigas
  • Martin "marteen" Pátek
  • Marco "HearthBeat" Soffia
  • Alessandro "N A I S" Montanari
  • Ilias "iLka" Kaskanetas (head coach)
  • Diego "Grigua" Lazzari (coach)

GMT Esports achievements with bipo this season

The Italian joined GMT Esports ahead of the season, on December 14, 2022. The team easily secured a place in the VALORANT Challengers Italy: Rinascimento Split 1 tournament during the qualifiers.

In the first split, the team quickly rose from league newcomers to champions, taking first place and earning €4,000 and 105 VCL Italy Points, and Taranvir “bipo” Singh himself became the best player of the league's second week.

The team did not earn enough points to get a direct ticket to the VCL Ascension: EMEA 2023, so they had to play in the qualifiers. Unfortunately, the team took 7-9th place in the qualifiers, which turned out to be an unsatisfactory result. As a result, GMT Esports decided to part ways with the player.
