Case Esports officially says goodbye to Roxie

The Twitter account of the Spanish organization Case Esports has posted an official document stating that Povilas Krivelis, known by the nickname roxie, is leaving the Valorant team.

The current line-up of Case Esports

  • Vladyslav “Kiles” Shvets
  • Manuel “Ease” López
  • Salvador “Yurii” Gasco

In addition to roxie's departure, a few days ago, on July 14, the organization removed Dominykas “MiniBoo” Lukaševičius from the main lineup and benched him. There is no information yet about who will be the new members of the club, but the team has no scheduled tournaments, so there is a good chance that replacements will not be announced soon.

Roxie's contribution to the team's tournament achievements

Povilas Krivelis joined the Spanish organization in late December 2022. Together with the team, he participated in two stages of Valorant Challengers 2023 Spain: Rising Split 1 and Split 2, and made a significant contribution to the victory in these tournaments. In the grand final of Valorant Challengers 2023 Spain: Rising Split 2, where Case Esports faced Team Queso, he was the best player and received the MVP title. Also, roxie and the team won a silver medal at the Surfshark Valorant Challenge #2, losing to Fire Flux Esports in the final. The last tournament for the team was VCT 2023: Ascension EMEA, where Case Esports took the last place. The poor result in the tournament was the key moment of changes in the team roster.

Farewell to the organization

Povilas expressed his thoughts on the team's recent results and said goodbye to his teammates and the organization.

After the difficult Ascension tournament, changes were needed. We didn't deserve to go any further as a team, for a specific reason. These were the toughest last 3 months for me as a player and a mental leader of the team after mid-season changes were made. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm looking forward to what the future brings! It was a pleasure, and thank you for everything, Case Esports.

Roxie also talked about his vision for the future and that he doesn't plan to leave the discipline. The player plans to move forward and even create his own team. Roxie says that since he has experience in team management, he plans to gather a team that will win tournaments, so he is looking for responsible players for this.
