As a result of both clashes, the teams BiliBili Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix earned easy victories and secured their spots in the main stage of the Chinese contenders league.
In the first match, the BiliBili Gaming team met with Royal NEver Give Up and the outcome was quite predictable. The team secured a hard-fought victory on their opponents' map choice Haven 14-12, and then easily overcame their opponents on their own map Ascent 13-4.
The best player of the match was Biank, who achieved a KD of 43/23 across both maps.
In the second match, the tournament's underdogs, FunPlus Phoenix went up against All Gamers. While both teams are considered relatively weak, the former's extensive experience in international competition helped them to victory. The "Phoenixes" struggled to win the opponents' map choice Sunset 13-10, but then dominated on their own map Lotus 13-5.

It is worth noting that the Valorant China Evolution Series Act 3: Heritability - Play-In is taking place from November 5 to 11 in an online format. 16 teams from China are competing for 8 spots in the main tournament, which is analogous to the contenders league in other regions. Interestingly, both teams mentioned above already have partnerships with Riot Games, so in the upcoming tournament they will only compete for the prize pool, which amounts to $41,217.
