Representatives of the Turkish organization BBL Esports announced on the official club page on Twitter that Mehmet "Turko" Özen is leaving the team after serving for over a year and a half. A few days ago, İbrahim "SouhcNi" Sağır also left the team, which we reported in another article.
Bugün takımımız oyuncularından Mehmet "Turko" Özen ile karşılıklı anlaşarak yollarımızı ayırma kararı aldık.

Today, we have mutually decided to part ways with Mehmet "Turko" Özen, one of our team's players.
We thank him for everything he has done for us and our team on this wonderful journey and wish him success in his future career.
This probably isn't the last player to leave the team. According to the VALORANT Champions Tour Global Contract database, only Eren "Brave" Kasırga is listed as a BBL Esports player, while other participants have been excluded for some time. Two players have left the team in the past two days. These circumstances suggest that the Turkish club is most likely planning a full roster overhaul for the upcoming VCT 2024 season.
BBL Esports' Valorant lineup consists of
- Eren "Brave" Kasırga
- Doğukan "QutionerX" Dural
- Ali "AsLanM4shadoW" Balta
Mehmet "Turko" Özen, on his personal Twitter page, stated that he doesn't plan to end his career but rather has even more desire and ambition in Valorant. He's actively seeking a team as a free agent and is willing to move to any region and play any role, except "Smoke".
