Erick "aspas" Santos justified his choice by saying that his primary goal was not a high salary but a team with a strong lineup and high ambitions, with which he could return to the international Valorant scene.
The 20-year-old player recently joined the Leviatán team after leaving the Brazilian club LOUD. He had expressed a desire not to play with the latter even before the end of VCT 2023, and even a third-place finish at VALORANT Champions 2023 did not change his mind. The first test for the newly formed Leviatán roster will be the Superdome 2023 - Colombia tournament, which is part of this year's offseason events. Superdome 2023 - Colombia is scheduled for November 10th to 12th. There, four American teams that received invitations will compete for a prize pool of $30,000.
