Almost all Team Karma players are back in Counter-Strike

Players of Team Karma, who competed in the Valorant discipline, are almost entirely returning to Counter-Strike. This information was made public by Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido on her Twitter account.

Team Karma consisted of:

  • Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido
  • Amanda "rain" Smith
  • Kay
  • April "bungee" Haight
  • Elena "Ellie" Garland
  • David "XP3" Garrido (Coach)

The team formed at the beginning of 2023 and managed to participate in 7 events and two series of the Game Changers tournament in North America during this time. Team Karma could not achieve satisfactory results, not securing any prize positions and failing the qualifiers for both the first and second series of Game Changers.

Such unsatisfactory results over time, along with the announcement of Counter-Strike 2, became the main reasons prompting four players and the coach to return to Counter-Strike.

Updated lineup and its CS:GO debut

The updated lineup of Team Karma consists of:

  • Emmalee "EMUHLEET" Garrido
  • Amanda "rain" Smith
  • Olga "olya" Kryvulych
  • April "bungee" Haight
  • Elena "Ellie" Garland
  • David "XP3" Garrido (Coach)

The roster underwent just one change: Olga "olya" Kryvulych joined the team, replacing Kay, who remains in the Valorant discipline.

The official debut of Team Karma will take place today during the first open qualifier for ESL Impact Season 4. Their first opponents will be FLUFFY AIMERS WHITE. The matches will start at 01:00 a.m.
