On September 26th, the group stage of the VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Series 3 concluded, determining the eight teams that will continue their quest for a slot in the World Championship and a $30,000 prize pool. In our article, you'll find the playoff dates, participants, and their seeding.
Both Groups A and B completed their final matches on September 26th. Subsequently, eight teams advanced to the next stage—four from each group. With the exception of the impressive performances by Game Changers Team Flacons VEGA and NASR Ignite, newcomers who qualified for this tournament from the second league, the VCT 2023: Game Changers EMEA Series 3 group stage passed without major upsets.
Interestingly, BBL Queens participated in three Game Changers events this year and didn't lose a single match during the group stages. However, they have never clinched the championship title, being knocked out in the playoff stage. Perhaps, in this tournament, the team will have the chance not only to claim the title but also to earn a ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Game Changers Championship.
The tournament leaders, FUT Female and G2 Gonze, will commence their journey from the lower bracket, having secured the fourth position in their respective groups during the group stage. In contrast, group leaders possess an advantage over other teams. Besides starting the playoffs from the upper part of the bracket, they directly advance to the second round, awaiting the winners of the first round.

Remember, the playoff stage kicks off on October 3rd and concludes on October 8th. Eight teams, competing in a double-elimination format, will vie for a $30,000 prize pool, a ticket to the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Game Changers Championship, and EVO Points. Another team will earn an invitation to the World Championship based on these points.
