The Norwegian collective Formulation Gaming is making its first substitutions in its Valorant roster since the beginning of 2024. Today it has been announced that coach Jaden "SAB3R5k" Bryant is leaving the team after five months of collaboration.
Jaden announced this decision on his official social media channels. He stated that despite good results in the last off-season, the regular competitions hosted by Riot Games did not yield the desired outcomes. SAB3R5k is confident that he couldn’t showcase all his abilities due to a series of personal circumstances, so he has decided to leave the team.
I have made the decision not to continue playing in the current lineup. I appreciate everything the organization has done and allowed me to do during my time here. After helping the organization win several competitions in OFF//SEASON 2023 and qualify for Challengers, we were unable to achieve our goals at Polaris. Due to disappointments and my own extraordinary circumstances, I could not demonstrate all my capabilities as a coach.
Jaden "SAB3R5k" Bryant joined the team at the end of November 2023. Under his leadership, Formulation Gaming won two tournaments during the off-season: Stryda VALORANT Nordic Clash and BEACON Open 2023 Split 2: Finals - Division 1. However, as mentioned above, the official tournaments from Riot Games did not bring the desired results. The team's last performance in the Valorant Challengers 2024 Northern Europe: Polaris Split 1 ended in seventh place, resulting in the team losing the opportunity to advance directly to the next stage and having to play in the ECLIPSE qualifications.
It is still unknown where SAB3R5k plans to move in the future, but fortunately for his fans, the coach stated that he does not plan to end his career and is open to new offers.
