After stepping away from the competitive scene, Crazy Raccoon is transitioning Medusa and Makiba into the ranks of streamers

Today (November 28th), the Japanese esports organization Crazy Raccoon announced that two players from their roster are moving into streaming activities. An "Medusa" Min-cheol and Akatsuki "Makiba" Miyamoto are leaving the main lineup after a year of collaboration.

For Medusa, this decision carries significant weight as Crazy Raccoon was the first club in his Valorant career. In the VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) 2022 season, the player joined the REJECT team but returned to his home base after eight months, taking on the role of captain. Recently, Medusa announced a temporary hiatus from the competitive scene, and now we know why.

As for Akatsuki "Makiba" Miyamoto, a player who didn't gain much fame in CS:GO shifted to Valorant, where BLUE BEES became his first club in February 2021. In the same year, he changed teams and joined Absolute Jupiter (now ZETA DIVISION). While being part of the "Crazy Raccoons" the young player temporarily left the esports scene due to studies but returned to the Crazy Raccoon lineup in 2023.

In the early months of 2023, the team had a decent start, securing third place in VALORANT Challengers 2023: Japan, which propelled them to the main event. The first split went well, with the team claiming the second spot. The second split had a less smooth journey, with the team finishing in fourth place before ceasing their presence in the esports arena.

At present, significant changes are happening within the organization. After such a prolonged break, the team is losing several talents, and the future of the club is uncertain.
