After signing a newcomer from the academy team, DRX unexpectedly parts ways with two main players

The roster changes for Korean top team DRX continue. Only recently, team representatives announced the signing of an academy player to the main roster, and just a few hours later, it was revealed that the team would part ways with two main roster members.

In their official Twitter account, DRX management stated that two main roster players, Goo "Rb" Sang-min and Kim "Zest" Gi-seok, are moving to the team's inactive roster. Starting today, Goo and Kim are open to hearing offers from other clubs, and all inquiries should be directed to DRX management.

Today, DRX VALORANT would like to announce the transition of Rb and Zest from the starting lineup to the reserve lineup as restricted free agents. For all inquiries, please contact us at [email protected].

Both players joined the organization during the creation of the Valorant roster in January 2022. Over the two years under the DRX banner, they led the team to many victories and established the club as a top competitor in the Korean scene. Among their significant achievements are victories in both stages of VCT 2022: Korea Challengers, as well as second place in this year's regional stage of VCT 2023: Pacific League.

Both players apologized to fans for not being able to continue their journey with such a wonderful team. Despite this, they plan no break and are ready to compete in the highest professional league to prove their skills.
