After a year of collaboration, INIOP is leaving Skulls Esports

The Eastern team Skulls Esports underwent reshuffles, as revealed by the published list of participants in the upcoming VALORANT Challengers 2024 MENA: Resilience Split 1 - Levant and North Africa tournament. One of the recent major updates for the club was the signing of five new players, but today we learn about the departure of Douda "INIOP" Abdelaziz, who served as a substitute.

For the past year, Algerian player Douda "INIOP" Abdelaziz has been playing for Skulls Esports as a core player. During this time, the team achieved significant success in local tournaments, securing several consecutive first-place finishes. You might have noticed their lineup participating in tournaments such as: TDN CLUTCH Season 2, ESTAZ PRO Valorant MINIS #3, and two seasons of Nexus Community.

Despite success in local tournaments, the team couldn't stand up to a more serious opponent they encountered towards the end of the year at the Connecta The Ultimate Battle tournament. Following the defeat, the roster began to disintegrate. For over three months, Skulls Esports was in disarray, but on February 6th, it was announced that a new five-player lineup had been signed, and they competed on the same day at VALORANT Challengers 2024 MENA: Resilience Split 1 - Levant and North Africa: Relegation, where they secured second place and advanced to the main event.

The player himself has not commented on his departure, but based on his Twitter posts, it can be inferred that he has long been set on leaving Skulls Esports and is actively seeking a new club.
