Last night, on the Twitter gaming account - ValorantUpdated, which specializes in the informational component of Valorant, a patch note for the upcoming 7.05 update appeared. It describes changes to some gaming moments, including restrictions in ranked matches.

First of all, attention should be paid to the video dedicated to the upcoming update. It shows clashes between two teams taking place on the new Sunset map. The location is the main news of patch 7.05; along with its release, a rotation of maps in the game will occur, and Sunset will join Breeze, Ascent, Haven, Bind, Split, and Lotus in the pool of game maps.

Change in ranked selection

According to Riot Games, there has recently been a significant abuse of rating in Valorant. Many players raised their ranks using bots or assistance from high-ranked allies. To protect against rating abuse in the future, the developers have introduced restrictions during the search for ranked matches. Now players with the Ascendant rank can only invite allies with a Platinum rank or higher to the group, so that players with low ranks do not rise in rank with the help of their friends.

Now, after using the astral form on the Astra character, players will hear all sounds around her physical body.

Fixed a bug where Cypher's Trapwire ability did not activate when placed on the stairs.

Fixed a bug where other agents were not animated after passing through Omen's Dark Cover character.

Fixed a bug where the Sonic Sensor of the Deadlock character was triggered when the Wingman summon of agent Gekko moved past it.
