2Game Esports announced a roster change for Valorant: gobera replaces spikeziN

Brazilian esports team 2Game Esports announced a new addition to their Valorant roster on November 11. 23-year-old Vitor "gobera" Gobo has joined the team and will take the place of 17-year-old Rodrigo "spikeziN" Lombardi, who has not yet reached the minimum age required for participation in the league — 18 years old.

gobera made his esports debut in Valorant in 2021 and has played for Brazilian teams such as The Union, XIT, and Legacy. This year, he achieved 4th place in the VCB 2024 Split 1 and 9th place in Split 2. He gained attention for his exceptional gameplay as a duelist, particularly with Jett and Raze, showcasing impressive results, including a K/D ratio of 1.30 on Jett in over 150 official matches.

With gobera joining the team, he will take on the role of sub-duelist and initiator, previously held by spikeziN. The team has already had success on the international stage, winning the Ascension Tournament. Now, attention will be on whether they can replicate these impressive results in the league.
