After the group stage of TEN Valorant Global Invitational tournament, where the American team Cloud9 won two out of three matches and advanced to the finals, former Fnatic coach Jacob "mini" Harris shared his thoughts on his personal Twitter page about this and asked fans to refrain from hasty conclusions about the updated roster.

He cited the example of another team, 100 Thieves, which also showed good results during last year's transfer window and won the Red Bull Home Ground #3 tournament, defeating Cloud9 in the final with a score of 3:0. This led to fans having high hopes for this team, but ultimately, they failed to qualify for any international tournaments.

It is worth noting that after the conclusion of VCT 2023 and before the start of the off-season, Cloud9  made significant changes to their roster, signing three new players and a new head coach. Their debut tournament TEN Valorant Global Invitational ended in victory. You can find more details about their results in another one of our article.
