Viper agent gear in Valorant: Full guide

We continue to share with our readers information about exclusive Valorant agent gear that can be unlocked by progressing through the character contract. This time we'll be talking about Viper, one of the first agents introduced in the game since its launch in 2020. Over the course of Valorant's existence, she has gained an impressive base of fans and mainers who often create cosplays and fan art dedicated to her. However, not all of them know that this agent, like the others, has a unique set of equipment that becomes available as the contract is upgraded. Without further ado, let's get straight to how to unlock this equipment and what it is.

The agent equipment system in Valorant primarily revolves around agent contracts, which allow players to unlock exclusive cosmetic items and bonuses for each of them. The Viper contract, like other agents, can be promoted by earning Corporation credit points.

How to unlock Viper

Before you start unlocking her outfit, it's important to know how to unlock the Viper itself if it's not already unlocked. If you're new to Valorant, you'll start with five agents unlocked, but Viper isn't one of them. It can be unlocked in two simple ways:

  1. Each agent in Valorant can be purchased using two in-game currencies. The first is the same Corporation loans that we use to upgrade equipment levels. You will only need 8,000 Corporation credits or 1,000 VP to add Viper to your collection.
  2. For new Valorant players, the game is offering two free agent “tokens.” You can use this option to immediately unlock Viper if it interests you and suits your playstyle.

Activate the Viper agent contract

As with other agents, in order to activate the Viper contract, you will need to complete a few simple steps, after which the agent's equipment levels will become available to you.

  1. On the main screen of the game, click on the "Agents" tab.
  2. Here you will see a list of all available agents.
  3. Click on the Viper icon.
  4. Click the "Activate Contract" button.

After these small manipulations, you will be able to purchase agent levels using Corporation credits, which you receive through various game activities, such as daily or weekly tasks, as well as simply playing various competitive modes of Valorant. Don’t forget that for playing in a party, the game rewards you with additional experience and rewards, so when you’re leveling up your agent, it’s best to do it together with your friends.

Viper contract rewards

Agent Viper's equipment includes several unique items, each of which can become part of your collection, absolutely free (purchased with in-game currency, for completing contracts and winning matches). Among the rewards you can find:

Chapter 1:

  • Level 1: “Pick Your Poison” Spray: Cost: 2000 Corporation credits. A unique animated spray that can only be obtained by leveling up an agent.
  • Level 2: “Viper Valorant” Agent Card: Cost: 2500 Corporation credits. A card featuring a Viper that can be applied to surfaces during matches.
  • Level 3: “Biohazard” Title: Cost: 3000 Corporation credits. A title representing Viper's ability to create a biological threat with his abilities.
  • Level 4: Deadly Venom Spray: Cost: 3500 Corporation credits. Another animated spray featuring a viper that you can use on various surfaces in a match.
  • Level 5: Bonus currency “2000 Corporation credits”: Cost: 0 Corporation credits. As is the case with many agents, it opens for free and rewards you with additional currency to further upgrade your agents’ equipment.

Chapter 2

  • Level 6: “Venom Vial” Keychain: Cost: 4500 Corporation credits. The flask is filled with a poisonous vapor similar to Viper's abilities, shaped like the Spike that adorns your weapon.
  • Level 7: “Viper” Spray: Cost: 5500 Corporation credits. Already a tray spray in the Viper collection, with an alternative design, where, in addition to the viper, the name of the agent himself is carved.
  • Level 8: Title “Toxic”: Cost: 6500 Corporation credits. Another title in the agent's collection (as you can see, Riot Games didn't care much about the uniqueness of equipment at the game's release).
  • Level 9: Agent Card “One Dark Night”: Cost: 7500 Corporation credits. An image from Viper that depicts part of the agent's history in the Valorant universe.
  • Level 10: Exclusive weapon skin “Snakebite Sheriff”: Cost: 10,000 Corporation credits. The final reward for completing the Viper contract is an exclusive weapon skin, with a viper emblem and a barrel filled with a poisonous cloud.
