Valorant agent gear Tejo: Full guide
Valorant agent gear Tejo: Full guide

The most significant event in early 2025 for Valorant is the release of the new agent, Tejo. The Colombian initiator has stormed into the game's universe, and according to many players, he currently feels overpowered, which will likely lead to a nerf in the future. However, today we’re leaving gameplay aside and focusing on his cosmetics. Alongside Tejo’s release, his personal gear was added to the game, just like every other agent has. His gear includes unique accessories and a weapon skin. On the agent’s launch day, we’ve prepared a guide on how to unlock Tejo’s gear.

What Is Gear in Valorant?

Before we dive into Tejo’s gear, let’s remind readers what gear means in Valorant. Gear in Valorant is a set of unique cosmetic items available for each of the 26 agents in the game. These items typically include:

  • A skin for one of the pistols (Ghost, Classic, Sheriff, Frenzy, or the Shorty shotgun)
  • Two player titles
  • Three graffiti sprays
  • Two player cards
  • A weapon charm
  • 2,000 Kingdom Credits

How to Get Tejo’s Gear

Unlock the Agent

To access an agent’s gear, you must first unlock the agent themselves. This is usually done through in-game currency. You can unlock any agent for 1,000 VP or 8,000 Kingdom Credits. However, since Tejo just debuted today, he has a unique contract, like all newly released agents.

When attempting to unlock Tejo, the option to purchase him for 8,000 Kingdom Credits will be unavailable. Instead, you’ll see a progress bar requiring 200,000 XP. Completing missions to earn this XP will unlock the agent. Keep in mind that this contract is only available for 27 days, after which Tejo will become purchasable with Kingdom Credits again.

Check the Available Gear

Once you’ve unlocked the new agent, you can choose the items you want to buy. Each agent’s gear set includes 10 different items. To view the available gear, select the agent from the list and click View Gear.

You’ll then see a list of 10 items split into two chapters:

Chapter 1 includes:

  • Ordinance Request Spray
  • Tejo Player Card
  • On Target Player Title
  • Heat Wave Spray
  • 2,000 Kingdom Credits

Chapter 2 includes:

  • Misilito Gun Buddy
  • Tejo Spray
  • Hermano Player Title
  • Collateral Player Card
  • Hard Bargain Shorty Skin

Unlock the Desired Accessories

Finally, to unlock any specific item, you’ll need to purchase it using Kingdom Credits. Note that you can’t skip items and unlock the last accessory right away. Instead, you must unlock items one by one to complete the list. If you select an item at the end of the list, the game will automatically prompt you to buy all the preceding items first.
