The Esports World Cup 2025 will feature 16 top teams — four from each region. In total, 80 players will compete at this event. We have reviewed all participants and created a list of the five youngest and five oldest professionals at the EWC 2025 for VALORANT.
5 Youngest Players of the Tournament
5. Son "HYUNMIN" Hyun-min — 19 years old
Date of birth: February 27, 2006
Team: DRX
A Korean talent who quickly broke into the tier-1 VALORANT professional scene before the start of 2025. This will be his second international event of this level, with the first being VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025, where he placed 5–6th together with DRX.

4. Mert "Wo0t" Alkan — 19 years old
Date of birth: March 16, 2006
Team: Team Heretics
One of the most successful young players, with two silver medals at international events — Champions 2024 and VALORANT Masters Shanghai 2024. EWC 2025 will be his fourth event featuring the best teams on the VALORANT scene.

3. Wan "rushia" Xiaojie — 18 years old
Date of birth: September 9, 2006
Team: Bilibili Gaming
Rushia only joined BLG at the end of 2024, and EWC 2025 will already be his second consecutive tier-1 level tournament. His previous event, VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, ended with a 9–10th place finish.

2. Lu "lucas" Yunkun — 18 years old
Date of birth: September 15, 2006
Team: Titan Esports Club
Another representative from China who recently broke into the tier-1 level by joining Titan Esports Club. Despite being one of the youngest players at the tournament, he is also the team captain, and EWC 2025 will be his second event with the new roster.

1. Burak "LêwN" Alkan — 18 years old
Date of birth: November 5, 2006
Team: FUT Esports

5 Oldest Players of the Tournament
5. Richardas "Boo" Lukasevicius — 27 years old
Date of birth: December 2, 1997
Team: Team Heretics
A Lithuanian player who gained experience back in CS:GO and is now sharing it with his younger teammates in Team Heretics, fulfilling one of the most important roles in the team — captaincy.

4. Matias "Saadhak" Delipetro — 28 years old
Date of birth: March 8, 1997
Team: Karmine Corp
Saadhak is known for his strategic thinking and ability to control the pace of the game. He is one of the most experienced and decorated captains in VALORANT. His career is currently in decline, and perhaps EWC 2025 will be the very tournament that restores his status as a consistent participant in international events.

3. Ngo "crazyguy" Cong Anh — 28 years old
Date of birth: August 27, 1996
Team: Rex Regum Qeon
Despite his age, this tournament will be crazyguy's first at the tier-1 scene. Before this, he spent a long time competing at tier-2 — this is one of his last chances to prove himself as a player and captain and leave a mark at the top level.

2. Volkan "sociablEE" Yonal — 29 years old
Date of birth: April 29, 1996
Team: BBL Esports
An experienced Turkish player who, like crazyguy, is only now getting the chance to showcase his level of play at the tier-1 scene. The Esports World Cup 2025 will be his first international tournament in a career that began back in 2020.

1. Jake "Boaster" Howlett — 30 years old
Date of birth: May 25, 1995
Team: Fnatic
The oldest player of Esports World Cup 2025 is Boaster, who remains true to his values and has been playing for Fnatic for the fourth consecutive year. He helped the club win two international trophies — VALORANT Masters Tokyo 2023 and VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo.

The Esports World Cup 2025 will kick off on June 8 with the group stage, where on the very first day we will see both the youngest and oldest players in action, competing for a share of the $1,250,000 prize pool, as well as club points. An additional $27,000,000 will be distributed among organizations.
