The 2024 offseason is coming to a close and most regions have already finalized roster staffing. We've already discussed all the solifles, top agents, and rookies that have delighted us throughout this year. Finally, it's time to discuss one of the hottest topics, VALORANT's rising stars in 2025.

In just one year, Emirhan “hiro” Kat has made his way from the Tir-3 stage, to tournaments on a global scale. The year 2024 was a year of triumph for the young player. Thanks to his 6th place at the VALORANT Champions 2024, the young talent made his mark on the world.

Player's career

Before starting his professional career, he was seen in various mixes playing in local offline tournaments. Then in 2023 he became a part of WYLDE and participated in his first official tournaments. The most high-profile event of his career was the VALORANT Champions 2024, where he represented the Fnatic team.

Another native of the English club Fnatic Ștefan “Sayonara” Mîtcu. His performance at Red Bull Home Ground #5 showed that the young Moldovan is capable of competing on the Tier-1 stage, against such famous teams as: G2 Esports and FOKUS.

Unlike his former teammate, Sayonara has a short career history. His professional journey started in 2024 with KPI Gaming. After performing well, the player was noticed by English club Fnatic. Due to his young age, according to the rules of Riot Sayonara did not have the opportunity to play in seasonal tournaments. However, he performed well at one of the biggest Off/Season events Red Bull Home Ground #5.

Eduardo “xenom” Soeiro

 
 

MIBR team management decided to entrust the choice of future participants to one of the best duelists in the world - Erick “aspas” Santos. Thus, Eduardo “xenom” Soeiro became a part of the club and there are high hopes for him ahead of the upcoming 2025 season.

Player's career

In 2022, the Brazilian was seen in mixed stacks taking part in the Gamers Club Elite Cup and Gamers Club Liga Série A. After performing well, the player was recognized by the TropiCaos organization, for which he played for a full year.

In 2024, as a stand-in he helped to reach 9th place at Multiplatform Esports Game 2023 with TBK Esports. After that, the player moved to Stellae Gaming, with whom he placed 4th at the VALORANT Challengers 2024 Brazil: Split 2.

Gabriel “cortezia” Cortez, along with his current teammate Eduardo “xenom” Soeiro, has been selected as MIBR aspas duelist and will represent the team for the 2025 season. Despite his short career, has established himself as a promising player in the guard role.

Player's career

Along with his current teammate xenom, cortezia started out as a member of TropiCaos, but their paths have since diverged. Throughout 2023, the Brazilian played as a stand-in for the RED Canids club, which he eventually joined.

After a successful participation at Multiplatform Esports Game 2023, VALORANT Challengers 2024 Brazil: Split 1 and Split 2, the player was spotted by aspas and will now represent MIBR at the VCT 2025 regional arena.

Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic

 
 

Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic has been trying to break into the Tir-1 scene of VALORANT for years and in 2024 his dream came true. After his incredible success in 2023, the Canadian was spotted by one of the top teams in the American 100 Thieves region, where he was able to fulfill his potential.

Player's career

The Canadian player has come a long way starting with the T1 academy squad in 2020. For a long time, the team could not achieve success after which most of the team left the squad. Moving to the NRG club, eeiu started to show good results, but it was not enough to achieve more serious goals.

Becoming part of M80, the player achieved his first successes on the Tir-2 scene, which became the basis for his further career advancement. Wins at VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Face Off, VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America Challenger Playoffs and 2nd place at the VCT Ascension Americas 2023, showed what the young Canadian is really capable of.

Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish

 
 

Another promising player who has shown promise in 2024 is Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish. The player has spent most of his time on the Tir-3-2 scene, but his move to Team Heretics changed his career dramatically.

Player's career

The player first performed as a streamer for the NRG organization, but after half a year of activity he decided to try his hand at the professional level. The first team that took him in was Enterprise Esports, for whom he played as a stand-in player, thanks to them he achieved his first successes, thanks to which he was noticed by Team Heretics.

In 2023, benjyfishy did not manage to prove himself, as he only participated in a show match organized by TH. But in 2024, he performed excellently and helped his team to achieve significant achievements such as: 2nd place at VALORANT Masters Shanghai 2024 and VALORANT Champions 2024, which was a turning point in his career.

Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk

 
 

Many professional players and various talents of the VALORANT scene have spoken favorably of DRX's up-and-coming players. Among them, Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk, who plays the role of guardian and duelist, is the one we would like to pay the most attention to.

Player's career

Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk began his professional journey as a DRX academic. Through a diligent year of cooperation, the player was able to prove himself and earn a spot on the team's main roster.

Immediately after joining, the player helped the team win 2nd place at the 2023 TEN VALORANT Global Invitational and also performed well at the Red Bull Home Ground #4, a major international tournament.

In 2024, Flashback, was able to prove himself on the TEN VALORANT Global Invitational stage and show that the year spent in the academic squad was not in vain. Along with the team, the young Korean made it to his first VALORANT Champions 2024, where he helped the team to a 5th place finish.

Despite significant roster changes, Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk has retained his place in the main roster DRX and will continue to represent the team next season.

VALORANT's rising stars in 2025 represent an interesting cross-section of young talent ready to make a name for themselves on the world stage. From humble beginnings at local tournaments to standout performances at major international competitions, each of the players mentioned has come a long way. Their accomplishments in 2024 have provided a solid foundation for them to continue to grow and shape their careers in professional esports.
