Rex Regum Qeon, a lesser-known club having multiple Valorant squads encompassing both male and female teams, announced sad news for all fans. On their social media page on Twitter, they declared the end of collaboration with the female Valorant roster.
The team Rex Regum Qeon Kaguya was formed in early 2023. The club had clear intentions for success, unfortunately, they didn't achieve the desired results. The female squad exhibited decent performance, but it wasn't enough to win at VCT 2023: Game Changers APAC Elite. This led to the termination of contracts with team members as they couldn't reach the goal and qualify for the female world championship.
The members peacefully parted ways with the organization, as indicated by their farewell letter on the official Team RRQ channel.
"RRQ would like to thank the team for their unwavering commitment, relentless efforts, and dedicated contributions throughout this entire year. With this, we mark the end of the RRQ Kaguya journey as the team disbands. These young women still have much to offer, and any team would be lucky to have them."
It's important to note that not all players will continue their careers. Nabila “nabbsky” Sulthana announced the end of her tenure.
"I would like to say that this will be my last tournament, and I will retire after this."
The other participants thanked Team RRQ for the long-term collaboration. Most players remain in free agency and are actively seeking new teams.
