While major Valorant tournaments are on pause, regional competitions remain active. The final of the VCT 2023: Game Changers East Asia is set to begin soon. The women's tournament kicked off on October 25th with an $20,000 prize pool and eight participating teams.
Today marks the anticipated face-off between the two tournament finalists, Chao Hui EDward Gaming against ZETA DIVISION GC. Both teams have significant achievements in the Asian region, so there's no clear favorite. EDward Gaming's recent successful performance was securing the second spot in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: Game Changers China Qualifier. Meanwhile, their opponents, ZETA DIVISION GC, claimed top spots in several segments, notably in VCT 2023: Game Changers Japan.
The teams will have to put in a lot of effort, as $8,000 is at stake, and more importantly, a direct invite to the VCT 2023: Game Changers Championship. This is where the teams can truly showcase their abilities.
