Ubisoft Launches Reputation System

Ubisoft is no longer just issuing warnings — now toxic behavior in Rainbow Six Siege is actually being punished. With the release of Operation Prep Phase, the reputation system has come out of beta and started to truly impact players. The results were quick to follow.

In just three months, player behavior has noticeably changed. The number of negative actions per match has decreased by 21%, while positive actions have increased by the same 21%. Players are striving for a good rating to earn bonuses and avoid bans.

The number of players with a "dishonorable" level has dropped by 23%, while "exemplary" players have increased by 37%. Even those who previously broke the rules have started to reconsider their behavior.

Intentional team kills have been reduced by 22–23% across all modes. The number of abandoned matches has fallen by 14–16%. The destruction of allied gadgets has decreased by 35–43%. These are not isolated improvements — they are systemic changes.

But Ubisoft isn't stopping there. Upcoming updates will include more accurate tracking of accidental team kills, improved monitoring of positive actions, and addressing new issues like AFK and playing with cheaters. For persistent offenders, there will be automatic bans and manual account reviews.
