TeSeS settings

TeSeS plays with a mouse sensitivity of 0.55 and a DPI of 1600, resulting in an effective eDPI of 880. This relatively low sensitivity, paired with a high DPI, allows for precise and controlled mouse movements, which is favored by many professional players for improved accuracy in high-pressure situations.

TeSeS uses a Classic Static crosshair style with a very small gap and length, zero thickness, and enables a center dot. The outline is activated, though with zero thickness, and the crosshair color is a custom cyan shade. This setup provides a minimalist, unobtrusive aiming reference, helping maintain focus on targets without visual distractions.

TeSeS opts for a 1024x768 resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio in fullscreen mode, using black bars as the scaling mode. This classic setup is popular among professional players as it narrows the field of view, making enemy models appear larger and facilitating quicker target acquisition.

TeSeS's current monitor is the ZOWIE XL2586X+, a high-refresh-rate display tailored for esports. He sets DyAc to 'Premium' for enhanced motion clarity, color vibrance at 14 for vivid visuals, low blue light at 0 for natural colors, and black equalizer at 4 to improve visibility in darker game areas, all contributing to optimal clarity and responsiveness.

TeSeS is presently using the Pulsar eS FS-1 mouse, which is designed for competitive FPS gaming. This mouse offers a lightweight build and advanced sensor technology, enabling swift and precise movements that complement his low-sensitivity setup, ensuring consistent accuracy during fast-paced matches.

TeSeS configures his graphics to maximize both performance and visibility: model texture detail is set to low, global shadow quality to medium, texture filtering mode to trilinear, and multisampling anti-aliasing at 4x MSAA. He also enables boost player contrast and disables V-Sync, which reduces input lag and maintains smooth frame rates essential for competitive play.

TeSeS relies on the HyperX Cloud III Black headset, known for its clear sound reproduction and comfortable fit. This choice ensures he can accurately pinpoint in-game sounds, such as footsteps and gunfire, giving him a crucial edge in situational awareness during matches.

TeSeS's current keyboard is the Wooting 80HE Ghost, a top-tier analog keyboard offering rapid key response and customizable actuation points. This enables faster and more precise movement controls, which is particularly advantageous for advanced movement techniques and quick reactions in competitive play.

Over time, TeSeS has adjusted his mouse sensitivity and eDPI to fine-tune his aim. His eDPI has evolved from 800 and 840 in the past to the current 880, and his sensitivity has increased from 0.5 and 0.525 to 0.55. These incremental changes suggest a pursuit of a sensitivity that balances comfort with precise aiming.

TeSeS uses a viewmodel with a field of view of 68, offset values of 2.5 (x), 0 (y), and -1.5 (z), and preset position 2, with viewmodel bobbing disabled. This configuration minimizes weapon model movement and size on screen, ensuring maximum visibility and reducing distractions, which is crucial for spotting opponents and maintaining focus on the crosshair.
