Following the results of the group stage of the IESF World Esports Championship 2023 in CS:GO, the first round playoff pairs were determined, as well as the teams that went straight to the quarterfinals of the tournament. Among the participants of the final stage of the championship is the Ukrainian national team, which will play against the Australian national team.

Other playoff participants

Romania and the Czech Republic, North Macedonia and Denmark, as well as Poland and Hungary will compete in the remaining matches of the first round of the playoffs. The winners of their groups earned slots in the quarterfinals of the competition. Among them are Serbia, Sweden, Germany, and Uzbekistan.

When will the playoffs take place?

The playoffs will take place from August 28 to September 3. The decisive stage of the tournament will be opened by a meeting between Ukraine and Australia. The match is scheduled for August 28, 12:00 EEST. Detailed pre-match statistics of the teams can be found here.
