Sprout announced the fifth CS:GO team player, who will also become the team captain. It's the Australian athlete Aaron AZR Ward. The announcement was made on the organization's Twitter.
Who is AZR?
Aaron AZR Ward is a professional CS:GO player from Australia. During his career, the cyber sportsman managed to play in such clubs as Renegades, 100 Thieves, and EXTREMUM. However, since October 2021, after leaving EXTREMUM, he has been out of the competitive scene.
Ward achieved the greatest success in the Renegades. The team was repeatedly selected for majors, and at the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, they were able to take 3-4th place. In addition, the team managed to win the StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 2 trophy, beating the legendary Polish team Virtus.pro in the final.
Who else has Sprout considered?
At first, there were rumors on the web that Sprout was considering the Natus Vincere academy graduate Rodion fear Smyk. Later, the Ukrainian confirmed that but noted that negotiations are complicated.
When will Sprout's updated line-up play?
The next match for the new Sprout roster will be a meeting with Apeks as part of the ESL Challenger League Season 44 For Europe. The confrontation is scheduled for March 4, 6:00 PM Moscow time. The pre-match statistics can be found here.
