The sniper for the Falcons team, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, participated in a 1 versus 5 show match hosted by streamer Evelone. Playing solo against five strong opponents, Ilya was granted "cheat" abilities such as Wall Hack, BunnyHop, invisibility, and a parachute. However, even with these advantages, the best he could achieve was 7 rounds. He didn't manage to win a single map.
m0NESY faced a team of five experienced players: former professional Baz (3500 ELO) and streamers m3wsu (4200 ELO), ct0m (3800 ELO), strogo (3300 ELO), and skillz0r (2700 ELO). All participants are active FACEIT players with high individual skill levels, capable of competing equally with professionals. Their average rating was around 3500 ELO, making them a formidable team, especially against a single player.
All "cheats" used in the match were activated via console commands in a local game and are not actual banned programs. This was part of the pre-agreed show match.
m0NESY climbed to position 9, where he failed to kill an opponent from behind, after which he jokingly mentioned NiKo, referencing the moment when NiKo failed to kill a player from behind with a Deagle in the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 final.
The match featuring Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov generated significant excitement within the community. During the live broadcast, the peak online viewership exceeded 119,000 people — an absolute record for this show format. For comparison, when a similar challenge was held with s1mple, the peak online viewership was around 80,000.
Evelone's 1 versus 5 format has been conducted more than six times. Throughout this time, no professional player or streamer has managed to win even a single map, despite the cheat abilities. It is likely that the show will no longer exist in this form — Evelone himself has already mentioned the possibility of revamping the concept. A new format, 2 versus 8, may be introduced to maintain viewer interest and balance the game.
