G2 has surprised the esports community by officially announcing the appointment of Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski as the team's new captain. The last few years of this experienced Pole's career were spent with GamerLegion, where he not only regained his status as a first-league player, but also improved his leadership skills. His move to G2 is part of a broader team reorganization that also includes the addition of Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa from M80.
The decision to make Snax captain came as a surprise to many, as the discussion has recently centered around the possibility of NiKo taking over. However, Snax's contribution to the strategic component and his experience with Virtus.pro, where he played alongside Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas from 2013 to 2018, have ensured that he is supported in this new role.

The roster changes come ahead of the upcoming Esports World Cup in Riyadh, which will take place from July 17-21. The team will have to decide how best to integrate the new players into the team, especially considering that malbsMd's position on the map may conflict with that of Nemanja "huNter-" Kovac and Nikola "NiKo" Kovac.
The updated G2 roster looks very encouraging, and it is expected that the team under Snax's leadership will be able to compete at the highest level, striving for great success in the new season.
