Robin “ropz” Kool, one of the brightest talents in the CS2 world, is close to joining Vitality after three years of playing for FaZe Clan. According to HLTV and independent reporter Guillaume 'neL' Ratier, the 25-year-old Estonian has already agreed on the terms of the contract, and an official announcement from Vitality is expected in the near future. The move will take place as a free agent after Ropz' contract with FaZe expires.

Results of ropz's career in the FaZe clan

Ropz joined FaZe in January 2022, returning to the leadership of Finn “karrigan” Andersen. During his stay in FaZe, he became one of the leading players, helping the team to win important victories and awards:

• PGL Major Antwerp 2022 - a historic first major for FaZe;
• IEM Cologne 2022;
• Intel Grand Slam Season 4;
• IEM Chengdu 2024;
• Finalist of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 tournament;
• Finalist of PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024.

Over the past three years, FaZe has risen to the top of the world CS, in particular thanks to his stable ropes game. He was one of the key elements of the lineup that provided the team with high results at the most prestigious tournaments.

Vitality: Why ropz?

Vitality sees ropz as an ideal replacement for Lotan “Spinx” Gilada, who will soon leave the team's main roster. According to coach Remi “XTQZZZ” Kuoniama, Spinx announced his desire to change the team in August, which created the need to find new talent.

Ropz brings with him not only experience, but also the unique stability he demonstrated in FaZe. His ability to win in difficult situations and incredible understanding of the game make him a valuable asset to any team.

What's next for Spinx?

Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, who joined Vitality in August 2022, plans to continue his career in another organization. His experience and skills have made a significant contribution to the team's achievements, but, according to XTQZZZ, the decision was agreed upon by both parties.

The signing of ropz could be a key event in the 2025 transfer window. Vitality with such a squad has every chance to compete for the most prestigious trophies, including the Majors.
