SAW vs Aurora
Nuke, the first map, is SAW's peak, where they showed complete dominance over their opponent finishing the half with a score of 10-2 and that's all for Attack, which is the weaker side on Nuke, although it all depends on how the team plays. Great play from everyone in the team, cohesion and without anyone dropping out of the game. Finished off Aurora in the second half and took their pick with a score of 13-3.
Dust II - the second map, Aurora's peak, is a new map in the mappool, teams are just starting to get used to it and adjust to it in the meta and recently a lot of teams are starting to choose it. The game was evenly matched in the first half, but Aurora ended it with a 7-5 score for Defense. In the second half, SAW almost had the lead, but Aurora stopped it and started gaining rounds themselves and won 13-10.
Ancient - the third map, during the first half Aurora won 4 rounds and you would think that was the end of it, but SAW stopped their opponents snowballing and started winning rounds themselves and eventually finished with a score of 7-5, in the second half of the map it was an even game, but SAW were able to squeeze their opponents and win the map with a score of 13-9 and the series with a score of 2-1
The MVP of the match is arrozdoce from SAW team with rating 6.8.
Eternal Fire vs PARIVISION
The second match was the meeting of Eternal Fire, who had a good run in PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, where they reached the playoffs and lost to Natus Vincere, who won that major. Their opponent is PARIVISION team, who can not find their own, playing in dash 2 tournaments.
The first map was Vertigo, Eternal Fire's choice. The first half was equal, with rounds won and exchanged and it ended in favor of Eternal Fire 7-5, while the second half was a rout in favor of the former, where they won it 6-2 and the card went to Eternal Fire 13-7.
The second map was Mirage, the opponents peak. The whole game was very equal, the first half ended with a score of 6-6, which shows PARIVISION prepared well for this map and Eternal Fire were ready for it. In the second half both teams traded round after round with each other, but in the end Eternal Fire were stronger and won the map with a score of 13-11 and the series with a score of 2-0.
The MVP of the match was Wicadia of Eternal Fire with a rating of 8.1
As a result of these matches SAW and Eternal Fire will play each other for a slot in the CCT Global Finals 2024 playoffs, while in the pairing of Aurora and PARIVISION the loser will leave the tournament in last place.
