Natus Vincere sweep Gambit Esports, to their fourth Major final

The CIS team in the finals.

The second semifinal of the tournament.

With G2 Esports already advancing to the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 final, it was time to find out their opponents, as one of the CIS teams, Natus Vincere or Gambit Esports seeked to become the sixth regional representative in the Major final.

Despite losing both pistol rounds on Overpass, Natus Vincere broke the Gambit Esports’s economy twice, never letting them build any economy. A “10-5” score at halftime became a “16-8” finish, as Gambit Esports did not manage to win consecutive rounds on their famous defence, while Natus Vincere’s offence ran away with the opponent's map pick. Moving to Mirage, NAVI not only started with a “6-0” scoreline, but did the same thing to Gambit as on Overpass, never letting them win two in a row for a “12-3” halftime score. The match itself did not last too much longer after the switch, as the number one team in the world continued their flawless run in Swede with a “16-3” finish to a “2-0” series win, advancing to their fourth Major grand final.

Seeking their first Major championship in CS:GO, Natus Vincere will face off G2 Esports for the third time in a row at the international LAN events, winning previous matches with a combined “6-0” scoreline. Will the story of the recent results repeat itself in Stockholm? We will find out on Sunday evening!
