NAVI defeated MOUZ to advance to the final of the Esports World Cup 2024 in CS2

Finished the second semifinal match that determined the opponent for G2 in the grand finals of Esports World Cup 2024 in CS2. In the second semifinal match met Natus Vincere and MOUZ, NAVI won the match with a score of 2-1.

The first major tournament of the season is being held in Riyadh and the prize pool is $1,000,000. The tournament runs from July 17-21 and features 15 teams. There are already some teams that have left the tournament, among them such greats as FaZeVitality and Spirit. There are only two teams left in the tournament, which will fight in the grand finals between G2 and NAVI.

In the match between NAVI and MOUZ the maps played were Dust2, Nuke and Mirage, pick NAVI and MOUZ respectively. On the first map MOUZ ended the first half with a resounding 11-1 score, also taking two rounds after changing sides and winning the map with a score of 13-1. The second map was Nuke, MOUZ's choice. On it, the first half was played tied 6-6. But on the second half NAVI started with domination taking 6 rounds in a row, losing only two and eventually winning the map with a score of 13-8.

 
 

The third map was Mirage where NAVI had a great first half in their favor with a score of 9-3. After switching sides, they lost only two rounds and took four more, winning the map 13-5 and the match 2-1. The MVP of the entire match was w0nderful with his excellent rating of 7.9.

At the end of the match s1mple recorded a voice message in his telegram channel where he said - “Cool that NAVI won, even in such a manner, played very strongly on Nuke, get together, although the defense started weak. On Mirage just destroyed, well done, well done”. Also m0NESY in his telegram channel wrote “El classico once again”.

The finals will be this evening, where the winner of Esports World Cup 2024 will be Natus Vincere or G2, the team that wins will take home 400.000 dollars, as well as 1000 points for the club standings from EWC.
