FURIA's debut after the addition of Felipe “skullz” Medeiros and coach Sid “sidde” Macedo culminated in the quarterfinals at the Esports World Cup on Friday. The event caught the attention of many fans and analysts as the team faced the challenge of a new roster and high competition. The team lost to NAVI in their first match with the new squad but made it through the last chance stage before exiting the tournament in a match against MOUZ.

Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato was interviewed by HLTV where he talked about the new team, his decision to extend his contract with the organization he has represented since 2018 for another three years. In the match against MOUZ, the FURIA team showed a good game, but lost due to a number of mistakes and lack of strategy. KSCERATO said that the team needs more time to train and practice new tactics. He also emphasized that the addition of Skullz and the new coach sidde has had a positive impact on the team, but time is needed to achieve better results.

KSCERATO also talked about the importance of renewing his contract with FURIA and his goal to win a few tournaments before leaving the team. He emphasized that he still has plenty of time to play at a high level. Skullz, who was introduced into the lineup, according to KSCERATO, has a lot of potential and time to adapt to the team's style of play.

The match was attended by a small but noisy crowd which included Neymar. KSCERATO said that the support of Neymar and other fans is important to the team and gives them an extra incentive to win. He expressed his gratitude for the support and said it gives the whole team confidence.

The next tournament for FURIA will be IEM Cologne 2024, where they will play in the Play-in stage with other teams to qualify for the group stage and then try to reach the playoffs. At the tournament 24 teams will fight for a prize pool of 1.000.000 dollars from August 7 to 18, as well as an invitation to IEM Katowice 2025 and BLAST Premier: World Final. This tournament is also part of Intel Grand Slam Season 5.
