The first map of the match was Vertigo, the pick of Complexity who started the map very confidently, but MOUZ were able to grab the initiative and take 7 rounds in a row, giving them the win in the first half. After winning the second pistol round, MOUZ continued to extend their streak to 11 consecutive rounds taken. Complexity tried to make a comeback, but it was too late and they lost 13-9.
The second map was Nuke, where the first half ended with an even score of 6-6. The second half was similar to the first, where the teams traded a series of rounds, but MOUZ were able to come together at 9-11 and press their opponent. Winning with a close 13-11 score, ending the game without a third card.
Best Player of the Match
The title of best player of the match went to Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo, who is one of the younger players in the tournament. At his age of 17, he has won two ESL Pro League Season 2 championships in a row, which is cool.
Next matchup
With the win, MOUZ secured a playoff spot in the tournament, but will play against the winner of the Vitality pairing for seeding. Complexity in turn fall into the bottom set, where they need to win two matches to enter the arena. They will play Liquid in the first match.
