The esports club Heroic has decided to withdraw its CS2 team from the BetBoom Dacha tournament. This was announced by the championship organizers.
Why is Heroic Skipping the Tournament?
Apparently, Heroic did not manage to assemble a new roster in time and is forced to miss the upcoming competition. At their last championship, BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, they played with two replacements. Rasmus Zyphon Nordfoss was a temporary stand-in, as well as Casper cadiaN Møller, who played his last tournament in the organization's jersey. The team finished in 5-6th place and earned $20,000 in prize money.
Who Will Replace Heroic at BetBoom Dacha?
The competition organizers announced that Heroic's slot has been taken by GamerLegion. The team will also compete in Group A, where their opponents will be MIBR, BetBoom Team, and Cloud9.
BetBoom Dacha will take place from December 5 to 10 in Dubai, UAE. The teams will compete for a prize pool of $300,000. The championship's schedule and results can be tracked via the link.
