New FURIA sniper Gabriel FalleN Toledo assessed the prospects of his new team. In an interview for Globo Esporte he explained why he chose the current squad out of all the offers from different clubs.

A lot of people have been in touch to find out what's in my head, what I'm thinking, what my preferences are. The biggest incentive for me to join FURIA was the level of the roster. I really admire yuurih, KSCERATO and arT. These are the guys who made a difference, coming to replace my generation of Brazilian CS. And I know that together we have a great chance if we do a good job and if everything goes as we plan and want to advance very far. I had offers from many teams, but FURIA won me over. It's impossible to make a new project with yuurih, KSCERATO and arT outside of FURIA, so it's much easier for me to be a part of an existing team.

FalleN and FURIA is an excellent combination. Not only does the ageing Brazilian still show good individual stats, especially when compared to previous sniper saffee, but will also give a big boost to the media component of the club. After all, FalleN is the most popular Counter-Strike player in his country.

The new FURIA squad will play their first match at IEM Cologne 2023 in the Play-In stage on July 26. The same goes for Imperial, where FalleN and chelo left. The squad will also play at Gamer8 and EPL Season 18 in August.
